The Texans quarterback called for a trade during the offseason, but none came through; Shortly after Watson’s January swap request, allegations of sexual assault came to light, which planted him firmly in Houston for the time being.

The NFL has yet to discipline Watson, while the quarterback still hasn’t played a snap in 2021. Instead, Houston has made his problem inactive, with Tyrod Taylor, then Davis Mills, starting as his season has turned. the drain (1-6 entering week 8).

Now, with rumors that several interested teams – the Dolphins, Panthers and Eagles – Watson’s trade watch is on again. Miami was reportedly the first to engage in trade talks with Houston, and the rumor mill has escalated since then.

It’s not just South Beach or nowhere for Watson. According to NFL insider Josina Anderson, Watson is exploring several possibilities for a business destination, not just dolphins.

According to Peter King, Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is not currently “pushing” the front office to take a step for Watson.

“I’ve heard that Miami owner Stephen Ross is not pushing his footballers to negotiate for Watson just yet,” King wrote in his Oct. 25 article. The Football Morning in America section. “Which is smart. It doesn’t make sense for a team to distribute huge assets for a player when the team doesn’t know when the player will be able to play.”

The Panthers entered the Watson draw again

The Panthers pretty much ditched Sam Darnold after another poor performance, and should return to the mix to try and land Watson, according to Fowler.

Carolina was one of the interested teams when trade talks first opened, and it looks like they’re willing to outbid any team if that means putting Watson under the center.

Athletic’s Joe Person – just minutes after the Panthers lost to the Giants amid another poor performance from Sam Darnold – league sources “expect” the Panthers to resume trade talks for Watson.

Darnold underperformed just months after the team traded a second-round pick, fourth-round pick and sixth-round pick for the former No. 3 overall selection.

Watson has no interest in Philadelphia

While Philadelphia might think it’s special, Watson still has no interest in a job that will take him to the “City of Brotherly Love,” according to McClain.

Watson has yet to approve a trade with the Eagles, and he may not be at this time.
