Following the closing of a £ 1.8million funding round to scale the business last month, online real estate lending platform CrowdProperty announced that Damon Walford has joined Damon Walford as as commercial manager.

With 25 years of experience working with banking and non-banking market leaders in the SME finance industry, Damon is a highly regarded executive in the alternative finance industry.

Damon joins CrowdProperty after leaving financial services firm Swoop, where he was responsible for business strategy and overall business development in his role as Chief Commercial Officer.

From 2016 to 2020, Damon was Director of Development at ThinCats where he helped develop the platform proposition, build a nationwide origination team and relaunch the company brand. Previously, he held a number of leadership roles, including Managing Director – Invoice Financing at Aldermore Bank and Regional Director at RBS Invoice Finance.
