It took six weeks, but the Jacksonville Jaguars finally won their first game of the 2021 season. It wasn’t easy and it was a last-second field goal. However, the Jags got better every week and they were going to win a game ASAP.

Plus, they’re arguably the best 1-5 team in the NFL right now. Looks like head coach Brian Flores is lose the Miami Dolphins locker room while the New York Jets can’t do nothing in attack. Jacksonville shouldn’t be bragging about winning a game, there is still work to be done. On the bright side, the pieces are there and the Jaguars have the potential to become a strong team. It won’t happen overnight and it may not happen this year, but the building blocks are there.

Head coach Urban Meyer and general manager Trent Baalke have made a strong team. While some units might use an upgrade before the trade deadline, the next three do not.

Jacksonville Jaguars’ stance that needs no improvement – Quarterback

The name of Deshaun Watson is in vogue and several clubs are interested in his services. One team that will not participate in the draw is the Jaguars, who are named quarterback. Trevor Laurent is improving every week and has displayed all of the traits you need to be successful in this position.

Based on what the former Clemson Tiger has been up to over the past six weeks, the chances of him improving is higher than his regression. In fact, don’t be surprised if he wins the Offensive Rookie of the Year award despite the Jags losing record.

Lawrence’s backup is CJ Beathard. The Iowa product is a serviceable backup and can start a few games if needed. The coaching staff were confident enough to trade Gardner Minshew to the Philadelphia Eagles before the start of the season.
